Clinical Partners is managed by a team who have worked together for many years and share the Clinical Partners values and a vision of offering the highest level of care to help people struggling with emotional or mental health issues.
Barny Guthrie – CEO
Barny Guthrie is an accomplished and experienced manager of mental health services in the private and charitable sectors.
From 2005 until 2010 he worked at one of the UKs leading private rehabilitation providers, rated 'Excellent' by the Care Quality Commission, where he was Operations Director and lead a large multi-disciplinary team of specialists.
Barny graduated from Sandhurst in 1990, and was an Armoured Corps officer for three years prior to gaining an MBA from Bradford University and going on to manage a number of businesses.
He is an ambassador for RAPT (The Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust), and in 2001 he completed the 155 mile 'Marathon des Sables' to raise funds for RAPT. He lives in London with his wife and three young children.
Katie McMorran – Communications Director
Katie is a highly experienced marketer with over 20 years of experience.
She has worked across a broad spectrum of business sectors including Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare where she worked with GSK, BUPA and the COI on a mental health campaign. She has also worked as a Director for a private residential treatment service.
Katie lives in Surrey with her husband and two young sons and is a school governor.
Caroline Scott - Head of Client and Provider Relations
Caroline has a Post Graduate Diploma in psychotherapy and has many years' experience as a BACP accredited psychotherapist.
From 2006-2010 Caroline managed the admissions department of a leading UK rehabilitation centre, so has an excellent understanding of the challenges faced by families and individuals dealing with all of the complexities of getting help.
Prior to this for Caroline worked for many years in the statutory sector, including as Service Manager for a Community non-residential addiction treatment facility in Berkshire where she was responsible for managing a large team of clinicians.
Adrian Clarke – Commercial Director
Adrian has been Commercial Director of Clinical Partners since 2011. He has had a lengthy career including at board level of multinational businesses. Adrian graduated with an MBA in 1998 and has subsequently bought and sold a number of small and medium sized businesses including successful turnarounds of businesses in receivership. Adrian lives in Leeds with his wife and has two grown up sons.
