Adrian is our experienced Commercial Director with an MBA and over 30 years’ experience in Business. Adrian formed Clinical Partners with Barny Guthrie and Caroline Scott in 2011, and ensures the company continues to move forwards in a sensible, sustainable direction. Adrian keeps the focus on our long-term goals to help more people, and consistently strives to improve the quality service we offer our patients.
Ali Newton has been with Clinical Partners for several years and has played a key role in our success. Ali was our HR manager for many years, singlehandedly overseeing the recruitment of our first 200 Partners and our first 30 employees. Prior to joining Clinical Partners Ali has had a successful career working in private and public sector roles including stints at the MOD and Prison Service. As Assistant to the CEO Ali now helps insure the smooth day to day running of the business.
Ex-army officer Barny gained his MBA in 1998. He has experience of working in a wide range of mental healthcare settings from working with street addicts in Bradford to being Operations Director of a private inpatient mental health unit where he was for over 5 years. Barny completed the Marathon des Sables in 2001 to raise money for the Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust and is due to climb the 19,500 foot Gondogoro Pass in the Himalayas in 2018 to raise money for his local NHS Foundation Trust. Since 2011 Barny has been Chief Executive of Clinical Partners.
Caroline is an experienced Psychotherapist and is Head of both our Adult and Child and Adolescent Triage Services. She has over 19 years’ experience working with people affected by mental health. She has been involved in a variety of complex projects, including implementing a Structured Day Programme for Berkshire residents, managed a residential treatment centre in Surrey, before founding Clinical Partners with Barny Guthrie & Adrian Clarke in 2011. Caroline is passionate about helping people get the right help and treatment with mental health problems. Her goal is that we continue to work closely with the NHS to reduce waiting lists and provide a service that is accessible to absolutely anybody living in the UK.
Chelsea is a member of our supportive Adult Triage team, with experience working as a care assistant to the mentally ill, and has volunteered for MIND, which involved meeting & greeting those with mental health disorders. Her future plans are to progress to a PhD in Clinical Psychology, and a Diploma in Neuropsychology.
Emilie heads up the Business Development team, working with Organisations such as the NHS and private companies to find the right care solution for their needs. With a background in NHS senior management and a formal training in psychotherapy, Emilie is really passionate about helping our Clinicians deliver ‘gold standard’ care to all our patients.
Jayne is a crucial part of our growing HR team, offering over 38 years of administration experience across various settings including banking, pharmaceutical and education services. She assists in Clinician Engagement, Human Resources and other important areas of the business. Jayne hopes to support the continued growth of Clinical Partners, to help more people that require mental health services.
Marie works as a valued member of the Business Development Team, with a BSc in Psychology and MSc in Neuropsychology. She previously worked in our Triage team and helped to develop the Clinical Partners CAMHS General Assessment and Adult ADHD assessment packages. Currently training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Marie’s empathy for others uniquely places her to help develop the work that Clinical Partners does.
Stuart is one of our most experienced Triage Advisors and is Head of our Adult Triage Team. He has excellent experience supporting adults with complex mental health difficulties, neurological and physical disabilities, and has also volunteered at a sports club organising sporting and leisure activities for both children and adults with Learning Disabilities. Stuart is currently completing a Masters in Sports & Exercise Psychology, with an aim to promote mental and physical health & wellbeing in both adults & children through exercise.
