She went on to work as a behaviour therapist for young adults with autistic spectrum disorder and challenging behaviour, followed by a period as an assistant psychologist working with adults with epilepsy.
Abie then completed a Master’s in mental health studies at renowned King’s College London, for which she was awarded a distinction and a prize for academic excellence. She is now working as a trainee clinical psychologist within the NHS, where she works with people of all ages who are experiencing mental health difficulties. Her specialisms include psychosis, personality disorder, anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder, autistic spectrum disorder (Asperger's and autism), eating disorders and cognitive impairment.
