Dr Lim is an enthusiastic Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist who is on the Specialist Register for CAMHS and has been working at consultant level since August 2021.
Whilst completing his psychiatry training, he completed the MRCPsych, ADOS training and the ADI-R clinical competency. Whilst working as a Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist with Salford CAMHS, he led the CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team where he carried out ADOS-2 assessments, supervised junior colleagues and provided consultation to colleagues on complex ASD and ADHD cases.
Whilst a CAMHS Specialty Trainee, Dr Lim worked across inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic and community CAMHS settings where his caseload included children and young people with mild-severe mental health conditions, learning disabilities, autism, ADHD and complex needs.
During his time at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Dr Lim worked in the Social Development Clinic which provides second opinions for ASD and ADHD assessments which were referred from other CAMHS services in the Northwest of England.
Dr Lim is a hardworking and conscientious doctor and works well with families to deliver high quality care. He is sound in his clinical decision making and has the best interests of his patients at heart.
