Dr Karyn Mannix is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, currently working for the NHS. She has a BA in Applied Psychology, MSc in Criminological Psychology, Diploma in Working with Personality Disorders and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She is a Member of the British Psychological Society and Member of the Health and Care Professions Council.
Dr Mannix has over 7 years’ experience as a Clinical Psychologist, working with adults suffering from a range of emotional and psychological issues. She has trained as a Schema Therapist and aims to develop safe and trusting relationships with clients to help them overcome a range of emotional and mental health difficulties. These include difficulties with Relationships, Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement, Low Self-Esteem and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Dr Mannix is also a medico legal expert, proficient as an expert witness and completing independent reports for parole hearings and court. She covers the following: Domestic Violence, Impact of Mental Health on Parenting, Neglect, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Treatment Recommendations, Capacity Assessments, Depression, Forensic Risk Assessments, Personality Disorders and Trauma.
