Geoff is an extremely engaging and interesting psychotherapist with over ten years' experience. Originally trained as a musician he pursued a career as a professional trombonist before developing a passion for therapy, initially in relation to performance. He completed a Master's degree in Psychology for musicians and a certificate in Clinical Hypnosis in 1999. He also has a Master's degree in Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is a BABCP accredited CBT therapist.
He therapeutic approach is flexible and he tries to match is therapeutic style and techniques to that of the individual within the session.
Geoff specialises in anxiety and mood disorders, depression, phobias and fears and addictive habits. He also uses Schema therapy working with treatment resistant clients and personality disorders.
Geoff also works with musicians, performers and offers sports performance, hypnosis, coaching, and CBT.
Geoff studied at Goldsmiths College, University of London to obtain a Master's Degree (MSc) in Rational-Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and received a Master's degree (MA) in Psychology for Musicians in 2001. He also has a Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis.
He has been working in private practice for over 10 years based in London and is a CBT therapist at the Priory Hospital and a performance coach at Trinity College of Music and is a supervisor in RECBT at Goldsmith's College.
