Is your eating out of control, does your weight yo-yo, are you eating for comfort or at times compulsively overeating or are your eating habits making you unhappy?
If this sounds familiar then a new course run by Clinical Partner Professor Julia Buckroyd could help you.
Women from all walks of life and ages can be affected by disordered or emotional eating. Sufferers don’t meet the symptoms of anorexia, bulimia or binge eating or overeating disorder because the eating behaviours are not so extremes. But they are use food as a mechanism of coping with stress and emotional issues – responding to life’s highs and lows by eating or vowing not to eat.
This course will help you understand your eating habits and create new coping strategies for managing your life.
The course will be held at The Medical Chambers, Kensington from 10.30 to 12.00 from 31st January and then on the 7th, 21st and 28th February 2012. The sessions will be limited to 5 people and will cost £400 for the 4 week course.
