Leslie Valon-Szots

Dr Leslie Valon-Szots is a highly experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist currently working for an NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Valon-Szots has a MSc in Clinical Psychology, MSc in Applied Psychology and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD). She is a Member of the British Psychological Society and the Health & Care Professions Council.

Dr Valon-Szots has over 14 years’ experience since qualifying, and has worked in various settings, including the NHS, working with children, adolescents, adults, families and parents from diverse backgrounds and with a range of difficulties and challenges.

With practical knowledge across the board, Dr Valon-Szots is able to see both adults, children and their families, and offers insight and support around issues such as Autism, Depression, Anxiety, Gender Identity, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Behavioural Problems and ADHD.

Dr Valon-Szots tailors her therapy to fit her patients’ needs, and as such has trained in several different methods of therapeutic intervention, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Systemic Therapy and Integrative Therapy.

Described by her colleagues as dedicated and dependable, Dr Valon-Szots is competent in many modalities. She is a highly reliable and helpful colleague, who is always willing to help others and give her time. Clinical Partners are pleased to present Dr Valon-Szots as part of our London team.
