Dr Parashar Ramanuj

Dr Ramanuj currently works within the NHS as a specialist in the Psychiatry of Musculoskeletal Disease, working with patients who have complex problems such as chronic pain conditions or paralysis.
Dr Ramanuj received his MRCPsych whist training at the Maudsley and St Thomas’ Hospitals and has a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience and an MBBS Medicine and Surgery, both from King’s College London. He is the recipient of a prestigious international fellowship and spent a year conducting medical research at Columbia University in New York.
Dr Ramanuj works with people who have a wide range of presenting issues including depression, anxiety and mood swings and has specialist training in perinatal mental health and medical psychotherapy. Dr Ramanuj is a leading expert in helping patients with mental health issues who also have physical health complaints. Dr Ramanuj delivers person-centred care, viewing patients as individuals who will each experience a diagnosis differently. He strongly believes that working closely with the patient is important to finding the best treatment package.
