Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist
Dr Ratnam is a highly experienced Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry (Women’s Service) at the John Howard Centre, East London NHS Foundation Trust.
In her capacity as a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, Dr Ratnam has a very high level of expertise in the full range of forensic presentations, especially in matters relating to serious violent offences, female offenders, and personality disorders. Dr Ratnam works extensively as an Expert Witness in the Family & Criminal Courts.
Dr Ratnam works with individuals and families in matters relating to perinatal mental health, parenting, relationships, mood disorders, and other common mental health issues.
Dr Ratnam has a great sense of humour and is a pleasure to work with.
