Dr Stuart Reid
Dr Reid gained a first class BSc in Social Psychology prior to gaining his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology; he now works as a Principal Clinical Psychologist for Five Boroughs NHS Foundation Trust.
In the 7 years since he qualified he has gained broad experience in a wide range of mental health settings which enables him to help adults with a wide range of difficulties.
Dr Reid has a particular interest in working with personality disorders, complex trauma and dissociative disorders.
Dr Reid is an experienced Clinical Psychologist in Adult Mental Health with experience of working with AXIS 1 disorders including general anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, depression, PTSD and eating disorders and AXIS 2 disorders, chronic unhappiness, repeated relationship difficulties.
He has a special interest in personality disorders, complex trauma and dissociative disorders and has experience of working in acute and community settings and is skilled in a number of therapeutic orientations including, CBT, DBT and Schema Therapy.
