Dr Elizabeth Grocutt is a highly experienced clinician currently working with adults as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the NHS. She has an Advanced Diploma in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Elizabeth is a registered member with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Dr Grocutt has over 18 years’ experience working for the NHS Mental Health Sector.
Dr Grocutt is driven to help people make sense of their difficulties and to utilise psychological theory and interventions to alleviate their distress, helping individuals live their lives to their full potential. She has worked with men and women presenting with a range of chronic and long-term mental problems in a range of inpatient and community outpatient settings. Dr Grocutt has been trained in MBT at the world leading Anna Freud Centre and within her training as a Clinical Psychologist, she has received training in CBT. Her work is attachment and psychoanalytically informed, giving her a robust grounding, with the flexibility to meet the patient’s individuals needs.
Dr Grocutt is described by her colleagues as highly experienced; she actively participates in continual professional development to further her clinical skills and practices. Elizabeth is thoughtful, sensitive, creative and highly dedicated to clinical work. We would like to welcome Dr Elizabeth Grocutt to our Oxford team.
