Dr Louise Martin

Dr Louise Martin is a Clinical Psychologist currently working for Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Science and a Post -Graduate Certificate in Family Therapy, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice.

Dr Martin has over 13 years’ experience as a Clinical Psychologist and has worked in a range of NHS settings.

Dr Martin has expertise in working with people of all ages who are seeking help with family and couple relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and long term health conditions including diabetes, disorders/differences of sex development and chronic pain. With a warm and collaborative approach, she works to create a space where people feel safe to reflect on the issues and feelings that bring them to therapy, and move towards their goals and hopes. A qualified Family Therapist and Clinical Psychologist, she is influenced by a systemic way of seeing people's lives, problems and solutions, and is also skilled in cognitive behavioural therapy and motivational interviewing.

Dr Martin is described by her peers as having excellent clinical skills and expertise in the area of Family Therapy, and as a motivated, intelligent and thoughtful Psychologist. Clinical Partners are delighted to present Dr Martin as part of our Cambridge team.
