Jason Solomons is a child and adolescent Clinical Psychologist who has specialised in working with children, adolescents and families for the past 12 years. He has worked as a Clinical Lead for various Child and Adolescent Mental Health teams in the NHS, Private Sector, and Local Authority. He has also worked as a National Site Consultant for the National Implementation Service at the Maudsley Hospital, where he consulted to teams across the UK regarding the use of evidence based treatments for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Jason has worked with children and adolescents experiencing a range of issues, including depression and low mood, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, self-harm, ASD, ADHD, behavioural problems, trauma, neglect and substance misuse.
Jason believes that families are experts on themselves, and he values the importance of open and collaborative relationships with the clients he works with. He has a relaxed, friendly, and calm style which helps create an atmosphere where children, adolescents and families feel safe and confident to be able to explore and talk about any difficulties they are having. We’re very happy to be able to recommend him to young people and families experiencing all kinds of difficulties.
