We offer ADHD assessments for children aged five and above under Right to Choose. Find out more about the referral process, our wait times, and your child's assessment.

Your child's feedback session

Following the assessment, you and your child will have a feedback session with their clinician. The clinician will talk through their conclusions, share personalised recommendations, and offer guidance about next steps. The feedback session is focused on the best treatment or support options to suit your child’s personal needs.

The feedback session takes up to 30 minutes.

Your child's report

After your child’s feedback session, you will receive a detailed written report outlining the findings that the clinical team has reached. This will detail information has been gathered from the assessment, the outcome reached and offer helpful recommendations tailored to your child’s specific needs.

We will send you an email to let you know when your child’s report PDF is ready for you to view and download in the portal.

Schools and other professionals are often keen to know the outcome so they can put the appropriate provisions in place to support your child. Therefore, it can be helpful for you to share a copy of the report with them. We can share all diagnostic reports with your GP, school and other professionals involved in your child’s care, provided you give your consent.

ADHD medication

If your child receives an ADHD diagnosis and medication is recommended, the clinician may suggest starting treatment to help manage your child’s symptoms. Whether your assessment was with Clinical Partners or another NHS provider, you may be able to use our Right to Choose ADHD medication service. You and your child will have support at every stage, and our specialist clinicians will clearly explain the options, providing you with safe, effective, and reliable care.
