0203 326 9160 0203 761 7026 0203 761 7027 0203 761 7029Andrew Stephens is an experienced Chartered Clinical, Educational, and Counselling Psychologist, and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, with over six years’ experience providing the full range of psychology services in educational and clinical settings. He graduated with a degree in Psychology from The University of Sydney, Australia, in 2012 and is currently working toward his PhD.
With a wealth of experience gained in Australia, Andrew started working in the UK in 2020, where he is a Senior Educational Psychologist with Essex County Council. This covers local authority, school and private clinic settings. Some of his responsibilities as part of this role include providing psychoeducational assessments, academic and psychotherapeutic interventions, and consultation to parents, staff and the community.
Andrew conducts psychological assessments for autism using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2) – which is the ‘gold standard’ tool used to inform diagnosis and intervention. Andrew works with children, adolescents and adults to provide holistic clinical assessments.
Andrew has been described by his peers as an excellent practitioner. He has extensive experience working with clients, particularly children and adolescents, and he is passionate about meeting the diverse needs of clients that he works with. He is experienced, calm and knowledgeable, leads his team well and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
