With a wealth of experience gained in Australia, Andrew started working in the UK in 2020, where he is a senior educational psychologist with Essex County Council. This covers local authority, school and private clinic settings. Some of his responsibilities as part of this role include providing psychoeducational assessments, academic and psychotherapeutic interventions, and consultation with parents, staff and the community.
Andrew conducts psychological assessments for autism using the ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised) and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2) – the ‘gold standard’ tool used to inform diagnosis and intervention. Andrew works with children, adolescents and adults to provide holistic clinical assessments.
