Dr Kenneth Wood

Dr Kenneth Wood is a highly experienced Consultant General Psychiatrist with more than 30 years of service in the NHS. He has supported patients across a wide range of mental health presentations, including ADHD, depression, bipolar affective disorder, severe mood disorders, and dementia. He has a particular interest in autism and is committed to providing thoughtful, person-centred care.
Dr Wood is known for his compassionate and gentle approach. He takes time to understand each individual’s experiences and works collaboratively to find the right support and treatment. He builds warm, trusting relationships with his patients and values clear communication, empathy, and honesty.
Over the course of his career, Dr Wood has helped many people better understand their mental health and take steps toward feeling more confident and in control. His deep clinical knowledge and calm, respectful manner make him a reassuring presence for those navigating complex or long-standing difficulties.
