Ambreena Asghar is a highly experienced pharmacist with over 30 years in the profession, specialising in both mental health and primary care. She combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centred approach to help individuals better understand and manage their medications.
Ambreena spent six years working as a senior pharmacist in an acute mental health trust, where she also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychiatric Therapeutics. She later trained as an independent prescriber and now works in general practice, where she offers structured medication reviews—especially for those with mental health conditions—alongside chronic disease health checks and personalised clinical advice.
Fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, Ambreena is committed to clear, inclusive communication, ensuring her patients feel fully supported in making informed decisions about their care.
With a calm and approachable manner, Ambreena takes the time to listen, explain options clearly, and tailor her recommendations to each person’s needs and lifestyle. She is passionate about improving people’s wellbeing through safe, effective, and collaborative use of medication.
