Dr Ioanna Vrouva

Dr Ioanna Vrouva is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who works with children, young people, and families. She is the Lead Psychologist in a London CAMHS service and has over a decade of experience in NHS and specialist settings, including autism assessments and expert witness work for family courts.

Dr Vrouva holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London (UCL), where she also completed a PhD and MSc in Research Methods. She is an Honorary Teaching Fellow on the UCL Clinical Psychology Doctorate and has co-edited two books on mentalization-based approaches for young people.

She uses a flexible, person-centred approach, tailoring therapy to each client’s needs, goals, and background. Alongside Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), she offers CBT, Interpersonal Therapy for Adolescents (IPT-A), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), and EMDR.

Dr Vrouva is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She can offer appointments in English and Greek.
