Antonietta Pirillo

Antonietta Pirillo is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist working with children, young people and adults, offering virtual appointments and neurodevelopmental assessments.

She specialises in ADHD and autism assessment, diagnosis and post-diagnostic support, helping individuals and families better understand their strengths, challenges and support needs. Antonietta is passionate about supporting people to overcome difficulties affecting their mental health and wellbeing so they can achieve their full potential.

Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based, ethical and person-centred practice. She provides thorough and defensible assessments, taking time to understand each individual's experiences and circumstances. Clients can expect a thoughtful, collaborative and compassionate approach, with clear recommendations tailored to their needs.

Alongside her clinical work, Antonietta holds a national role in training clinicians in ADHD assessment and diagnosis. She conducts a high volume of ADHD assessments, including complex and high-risk presentations, and uses this frontline experience to inform the training, supervision and consultation she provides to healthcare professionals and services across the UK.

Antonietta is the author of The ADHD Assessment Blueprint™, a clinician-focused framework designed to support robust clinical reasoning, ethical decision-making and diagnostic defensibility. She also provides ADHD assessment training for clinicians working within NHS services, charitable organisations, independent practices and GP services, as well as clinical supervision and consultation on complex cases.

Her wider clinical experience includes leadership roles within neurodevelopmental and mental health services, supporting children, young people and adults with autism, learning disabilities, complex needs and mental health difficulties. She has extensive experience providing specialist psychological assessment, intervention, staff supervision, reflective practice and training within trauma-informed and Positive Behaviour Support frameworks.
