Dr Dami Barnor is a Clinical Psychologist currently working with the Islington Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. She has a BSc (Hons) in Experimental Psychology and an MSc in Mental Health Studies.
Dr Barnor’s current role includes conducting assessments with the specialist Neurodevelopmental team as well as high quality interventions to children, young people and their families, as well as school staff teams. She has a wealth of experience in administering a broad range of diagnostic and cognitive assessment with children and adults for both clinical and research purposes. The interventions that Dr Barnor is well-versed to deliver are CBT with individuals and families, working systemically and offering consultations to family and staff groups.
Dr Barnor has extensive experience working with mild Psychosis, Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, ASC, Learning Difficulties, difficulties with emotional regulation, social communication difficulties, complex physical health problems, life-limiting conditions, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss. She also has extensive experience in neurodevelopmental disorders.
