Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr Kenneth Lee
ADHD Autism Children and adolescents

I am a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist specialising in neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism and ADHD. I work with children and adolescents and offer face-to-face and online appointments.

I have over nine years of clinical experience in psychiatry, including specialist training in child and adolescent psychiatry and I am trained in the Autism Diagnostic Interview–Revised (ADI-R).

I am passionate about supporting young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism and ADHD. I believe in a strengths-based, neuro-affirming and individualised approach to assessment and treatment.

I completed my higher training at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and have worked as a substantive Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in the NHS including at a national specialist service for complex neurodevelopmental conditions at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Alongside my clinical work, I have a particular interest in medical education and improving services for young people with neurodevelopmental conditions. I have also published research across several areas of psychiatry, including consultation-liaison psychiatry, perinatal mental health and school refusal.

“Dr Lee built trust and a great rapport with my son, and was kind, compassionate and caring in his approach.”
