Dr Emma Pillinger

Dr Emma Pillinger is a Clinical Psychologist with over 17 years of experience working in both public and private sectors, in community, residential and hospital settings. She currently works part time for Devon Partnership NHS Trust and independently as a Functional Medicine Practitioner. She has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, is an Associate Fellow member of the British Psychological Society and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Institute of Functional Medicine.

Dr Pillinger sees patient across all age ranges and is able to offer therapy to individuals, couples and groups, for many difficulties including: Anxiety; Depression; Personality Disorder; Autistic Spectrum Disorder; Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; Cognitive difficulties (including Acquired Brain Injury); Self-harm / Suicidal Ideation; and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Her approach to mental health is informed by attachment, systemic and psychodynamic / organisational theory, and she is committed to creating and contributing to a culture of kindness within healthcare.
