Dr Lee Priday is an experienced Chartered Psychologist, fully registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Psychological Society (BPS). He has over ten years clinical experience, working mainly within secure unit and inpatient settings.
He is accustomed to helping adults who are experiencing a variety of complex and comorbid difficulties. These have included problems associated with anxiety, depression, anger, bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorder and related trauma. He has published studies and spoken at conferences about the psychological mechanisms underlying these presentations and how they are best treated.
Lee has received training in a variety of therapeutic modalities and is able to apply these in a flexible and integrative manner depending on the presenting difficulties and needs of the client. He has a particular interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Focused Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and has undertaken additional training in each of these areas.
Lee forms good relationships with patients and professionals alike and is able to apply his skills and knowledge to help people manage their distress and to live more meaningful lives.
