Faith Martin

Faith Martin is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and Registered Health Psychologist, currently working as a Mental Wellbeing Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at University of West of England. She has a DClinPsy in Clinical Psychology, PGcert in Conflict and Development, Stage one Health Psychology (equivalent to Msc), PhD, MRes and a MA (Hons) in Psychology.

Faith has experience working with patients across the lifespan and has supported people with a diverse range of difficulties and conditions. She has particular interest in supporting people with OCD, trauma and psychological distress in relation to physical ill-health. Faith also has extensive experience in supporting people with Anxiety, Depression, paediatric HIV and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. She supports people through their difficulties using evidence-based interventions such as, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy- CBT, Acceptance and commitment Therapy- ACT and EMDR therapy.

Described as a thoughtful and enthusiastic clinician whose compassion is reflected in her person-centred approach, she treats every individual with respect and dignity.
