Dr Pablo Ronzoni is an extremely hard-working and experienced Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist currently working for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust and acting as Associate Clinical Director for Herefordshire CAMHS.
He is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and has a Master’s in Public Health as well as additional specialist training in Psychodynamic and Systemic Therapies, Solution Focussed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Dr Ronzoni is also a Section 12 Approved clinician.
With vast experience in all aspects of inpatient and outpatient treatment of children and young people, including the most complex cases, Dr Ronzoni’s current role involves looking after young people with a wide range of issues including Learning Disabilities, Eating Disorders, Emotional and Behavioural Disorders. He has a special interest in Neurodevelopmental Disorders which include ADHD, Autism, Tourette’s Syndrome and severe OCD . He also delivers psycho-education workshops for patients and their carers.
Dr Ronzoni is able to provide comprehensive assessments, including the ADI-R, DISCO and ADOS assessments, and treatment where clinically appropriate for young people with a range of mental health conditions and complex presentations. He works in partnership with young people, parents and carers to develop effective and evidence-based care plans, providing advice and appropriate support to professionals in the wider network of the child, young person or family.
With this person-centred approach, Dr Ronzoni quickly establishes good rapport with young people and he recognises the importance of listening to the child’s needs during consultations to ensure they feel heard and respected. He is firmly committed to evidence-based care and adopts a holistic approach to treatment.
